Who's show is better? Second of a double-header...

After catching one show in the afternoon, it was a quick drive up to Peoria. NGW had to find another place to run shows due to the Holiday Inn not being very workable. They found an very inexpensive location to run a few weeks later, which was a small gym in a building that used to be a grade school, but was converted into a hardware store, with other rooms turned into apartments and a billard repair shop. It's an interesting facility. Inside, they have scoffolding and tarps up for the dressing area and the entrance. The ring is turned where seats are around all four sides of the ring and the bleachers are drawn out for those who prefer to sit up there. The ring's canvas is now blue, though it looks like it's received some wear. I picked my seat, and hope I don't have to scoop up my equipment to avoid wrestlers crashing into my area.

Live from Bellevue Plaza. Your ring announcer is Lonesome Bobby Lee. Your commentary team is Scooter and Doug Devore. They do the rundown of the show. Headcount was about 60-65.

Josh Powers vs. Desperato Mexicanno - DM is masked in red, green and black. Josh Powers is the ex-ref. DM with the early rollups but Powers drops him with the stun gun and clothesline for two. Powers does the basic moves on him, DM comes up with the sunset flip and then the three amigos for two. Another sequence leads to DM hitting a spinning heel kick, sunset flip gets blocked, Josh with a form of spinning neckbreaker that's referred to as "rolling the dice" gets the pin.

WINNER: Josh Powers pin -> 4:25 mins. *½

Bobby Lee brings out pNut for an interview. This gal for some reason is struggling for words. Bobby asks what's the deal with Ego's Inc. and the wrestlers in the posse going elsewhere. pNut would like to tell us but she can't, and out comes Kyle Rich. Rich says he's bigger than NGW and even though he, Brett Gakiya, CJ Esparza and Axis aren't supposed to be here tonight, he's here anyway cause he's a champ. pNut was the "sex appeal" but now she's a "slut" who sleeps with all the wrestlers in the locker room. Oh PLEASE! pNut tries to slap him, but Rich grabs her hand. TripC comes out in a foul mood, saying he doesn't need his lip, attitude or ego. TripC says the best wrestling is in Bellevue tonight, since he didn't the memo that the other guys weren't gonna be here, and he can't keep his ego in check, but since he's here tonight, he's gonna make a match that fans have been wanting to see for a long time. It's gonna be Big Pappa!

Rich leaves, but Apocolypse comes out! Apoc wants him to listen. Apoc pinned the champ, but the champ used the ropes to get an easy win. Apoc says today he will be the champion if someone would be honest. He wants a rematch tonight, or else he will stick his foot so far up TripC's butt. TripC says no one wants to see him get a title shot, the fans say otherwise. TripC appeases the fans, he'll get the title shot tonight, but it's no-DQ. Oh great. Apoc isn't totally pleased.

2/3 Falls Match
Andy Roberts vs. Dennis Devine - The winner faces Jester for the PC championship on 9/9. First fall, Devine catches Roberts before the bell rings with a big spin kick and gets the spin at six seconds! Second fall, Devine tries to get the ref to count the fall immeadiately, but it's a 30-second rest period, Devine argues with the ref as Andy gets up, SUPERKICK Roberts and gets the pin at 50 seconds. Third fall, Andy is hunting for something under the ring but Devine baseball slide dropkicks him and it's a brawl on the floor! Devine shoves him into the post, toss in, Andy with a mule kick and the three amigos for two. Fisherman's suplex gets two. Devine headscissors off the top for two, bulldog for one. Andy with an impaler DDT and locks in the crossed legs full nelson...almost pins himself with it! Andy gets caught in the flying headscissors, Olkahoma roll gets two, head slam off the top rope gets two. Devine argues the count and Andy rolls him up for three.

WINNER: Andy Roberts (2-1) pin, pin -> 8 mins. **¾

SCW Quad Cities Champ Kyle Rich vs. Big Pappa - Kyle Rich is stalling like mad not wanting to fight his former tag partner. He bails and goes to the back. Robbie the ref gets so fed up that if he doesn't return to the ring he will be booted out of NGW indefinately. Rich comes back, and the fight is on! Pappa shoves Rich around, crossbody attempt is met with a powerslam for two and Rich takes off again. Pappa doesn't wait for him this time, but misses a legdrop and Rich is ON him! Rich with a neck snap, missile dropkick gets two. Rich reverses a slam attempt with a DDT for two. Kyle punches have no effect, Pappa clotheslines him and he tries to leave again, but pNut sneaks up with a LOW BLOW, tosses him in, Pappa with the black hole slam for three.

WINNER: Big Pappa pin -> 6:45 mins. **

We go to intermission...and we come back to...

PC Champ Jester vs. Buzz Rogers - This is a non-title match. Jester beats him down early, but Buzz hits some basic moves, until Jester with a gut wrench for two. Jester lands a headshot from the middle rope for two. Buzz with a slam, flying headbutt to the shoulder gets two. Buzz with a slam, second rope elbow misses, referee gets glued to Buzz, Andy Roberts runs out here, grabs Jester and neck snaps him...the ref SOMEHOW misses it all. Buzz with snake eyes twice and hits the spinning diamond cutter for the pin.

WINNER: Buzz Rogers pin -> 7:05 mins. **½

Catalyst Cory Carter, Morton Von Prose & Black Dragon vs. Gilbert Lewis, Dewey Dawson & Stumpy - Well MVP was supposedly out of action with a muscle tear, but the reports of that injury were overblown, and he's back. Stumpy and Dragon start and Stumpy mocks his personna. Quick exhange and MVP is tagged. Stumpy dominates and tags Lewis, battering ram double team on the New Era, TripC gets put in a pit stop on Dawson and gets clotheslined out. Lewis with a spinning neckbreaker on MVP for two. Dragon and Dawson in, Dragon blocks a slam and MVP yanks Dawson down by the hair. MVP and Dragon switch in and out, until Dragon tries a vader bomb but gets the knees. All breaks loose as everyone's brawling in the ring, MVP finds himself alone, Lewis with a BIG BOOT, everyone covers and get the pin.

WINNERS: Stumpy, Gilbert Lewis & Dewey Dawson pin -> 8:10 mins. **¼

Before the main event...Conner Riley comes out...yeek. He'll be making his return to the ring, but he is disappointed with everyone cause they cheer for the Geek Council and they don't know how to wash their clothes or do good hygene. Even if it's hot outside, it's no excuse for not using deorderant. Oh he's just trying to help us, like I'd need help from Conner Riley.

NGW Heavyweight Championship - No DQ Match
(c)Ryan Phoenix vs. Apocolypse - They're fighting in the aisle before they even hit the ring! Someone gets tossed into the bleachers, Apoc chokes him, Ryan gets thrown into the wall! Apoc takes Ryan toward the popcorn machine, then rams Phoenix into the side of the ring and chokes him with a shirt. Ryan with a rake and they head for the bleachers again with Apoc rams him into the post while chewing him out. Apoc clotheslines the post...whoops. Ryan chops Apoc on the post, gets a chair...and chairshots the post. Oops. They're back in and Ryan gets a crossarm breaker for two, Apoc turns it for two...and here comes TripC. Apoc powerbombs Ryan from the armbar. Phoenix with a DVD backbreaker gets two. Geez, and that's 300lbs of gerth. Ryan tries a springboard but gets caught in a powerbomb for two. Spinebuster gets two, and Apoc goes up, but Ryan shoves the ref to trip him! Hurranconranna gets two. Ryan fetches a chair and wedges it in the corner, but Apoc monkey flips him into the chair. Chokeslam is blocked, LOW BLOW Phoenix, clothesline gets two. Apoc catches a crossbody, death valley driver gets the pin.

WINNER and NEW CHAMP: Apocolypse pin -> 10:40 mins.

Apoc pins Phoenix close to the ropes. But after the three count TripC puts the foot on the rope and claims he got the foot up. BULL! The ref STUPIDLY falls for it, Ryan blasts Apoc with the title belt and gets the pin. WTF???!?!?!???!??!???

WINNER and STILL CHAMP: Ryan Phoenix -> 11 mins. ***¼

Gee how gullible are refs these days? Ryan Phoenix ain't legit as champ no more. Apoc is busted open as TripC and Phoenix flee the premises. And that's it for tonight.

No verdict since this is a minor show. Final analysis as to which fed had the better show that evening...I'm calling it a draw. Though one fed had supposedly higher caliber talent and a cage, one fed didn't noticably outshine the other. And that's how I see it.
