They've been wanting me to get back up there for quite a while, this week happened to be free so up I went. And geez, I've gotten off the interstate too early again and end up having to do some guesswork getting to the place in the dark. They are running on the 2nd, 16th and the 30th in December, so I have about three chances to go up there that month. The 30th interestingly enough, no one else is running that day, so I expect the place to be packed!

Live from the Bellevue Plaza in Bellevue. Your commentary team is Scooter and Doug Devore. Your ring announcer is Lonesome Bobby Lee. They do a recap of the previous show and run through the lineup for tonight's event. Devore says I should've been there two weeks ago. Yeah I know, but there was a lot of shows running that night.

Monster Chris Brown vs. Johnny Justice - JJ's face is healed, but he's STILL wearing that mask! Guess it's for looks only. Brown shoves him, Justice with a headscissor from the second rope, but gets SPEARED for two. Brown gorilla presses Justice, and turns it into a flip stunner for two...and pulls him up? Spinning sideslam, but Justice gets a reverse DDT. Flip sunset gets two. Brown hits a scary looking powerslam, backbreaker stretch, and finishes with Goldberg's finisher the jackhammer. Squash win.

WINNER: Chris Brown pin -> 3:25 mins. ½*

Josh Powers vs. Kenny O'Brien - Fans are chanting "Homo Ranger" at Powers. Bobby Lee screws up and says Cherry Malone is Kenny's manager. Whoops. Josh works him over and suplexes him for two. Kenny with a clothesline, back legdrop gets two. Josh hits a stun gun for two. Josh with the rude awakening, goes up, drops an axehandle to the head for two. Josh throws some weak punches and Kenny responds by shoulderblocking him, charges the corner but misses. Josh tries something but gets flipped off, kneedrop to the gut gets two. Kenny with the million dollar dream, but Josh hits a jawbreaker, inverted spinning neckbreaker follows and gets the pin. Not much there.

WINNER: Josh Powers pin -> 4:55 mins. *

Josh ain't satisfied with his win, and wants ANOTHER opponent. Someone is back there, and it IS my friend Cherry Malone. She wants to know who he thinks he is, and says he's a homo ranger. Looked like Josh made the foolish mistake of crossing a wild cherry! They apparently had some sort of relationship going, and he dumped her, breaking her heart. Ummm, Cherry, I'd stay away from guys named Powers. She states she will end his undefeated streak and kick his butt. Powers dares her, so...

Josh Powers vs. Cherry Malone - One slap and a rollup gives Cherry a lightening fast win.

WINNER: Cherry Malone pin -> 5 sec. N/A

She yells that he just got beat by a girl. This is the second time this year she's gotten a win that fast. Josh storms out of the building. I wasn't aware they were dating, but looking at their myspace pages, appears they were. Course now I'm in an arguement with Josh about crossing a wild cherry.

Jester comes out, he complains about being the longest reigning champion in company history and despite being a long time veteran, there's people trying to give him advice that he doesn't want. He wants a ring attendant in here to give him advice. Jester says no one can do what he does, and he wants to know what his advice is. Then he grabs the kid, which draws out Kyle Rich. Rich complains about him having all the talent but beats up commentators and ring attendants. He got slammed thru barbed wire and light tubes but he's not picking on commentators and ring attendants. Errr...he knocked out a valet with a chair. Anyway, he wants Jester in a match tonight to prove a point. He then says the match with Jester will be a warm up against Colt Cabana in Chicago. Alas, that match didn't happen, they put him against Alto instead.

NGW Triple Threat Championship
(c)Axis w/ Nikki Knight vs. Catalyst Cory Carter vs. Petey Clark - Two weeks after Axis beat Kyle Rich in a grueling ironman match that saw Kyle go thru a pile of lighttubes, he looks none the worse for wear. Nikki no longer wants to work for pNuts. Actually she'd like to have her own name, so okay I will refer to this gal as Nikki Knight from now on. Please refrain from the "Nick At Nite" jokes. Clark and Axis go after TripC hitting double team moves. Axis has Petey for a Hardy Boyz move, but turns on him, clothesline gets two. TripC clotheslines Axis down. Chopfest proceeds, TripC clotheslines Clark for one. Axis throws Clark into TripC, lungblower on Clark gets two. TripC charges the corner, kneelift on Axis, spinebuster gets two. TripC tries for the pedigree on Clark, but gets backdropped. Nikki grabs the belt, hops on the apron. Axis goes for a rollup on Clark and Nikki misfires a beltshot into Axis, Carter locks in a vice submission hold on Clark and we have a new champ. What were you THINKING Nikki? That was a deliberate violation of the rules and she knows better than that.

WINNER and NEW CHAMP: Catalyst Cory Carter submission -> 4:40 mins. *½

Nikki acts very sorry, and Axis is royally pissed. Axis thinks of beating her up, but CJ Esparza and Brett Gakiya come out teasing a rescue but say let's get her. Ray Hez and Desperado Mexicanno run in and dropkick Axis! The Midwest Mob pound Hez and Mexicanno, but TripC grabs the mike and orders them to stop. TripC says if they wanna run like a mob, their match is changed to a six-man tag with Big Pappa in the mix. Well at least TripC has gratitude for Nikki on this title win. We're at intermission already! This has been a lightening fast show thus far.

Apocolypse comes out, apparently he's no longer a part of NGW or else a free agent, but he's come to answer Buzz Rogers open challenge for a stip of his choice. Since Apoc isn't getting paid to wrestle here, he'll fight him for free. Well Buzz comes out from the front door and blasts Apoc in the back with a chair! Apoc is drooped over the top rope, shaking his fist. TripC runs out here again to scoff at both of them. He's pissed off that Apoc is in his ring. The crowd then gets on him. They want to fight so bad, fine it's an unsanctioned match, hardcore rules.

Midwest Mob - Axis, CJ Esparza & Brett Gakiya vs. Ray Hez, Big Pappa & Desperado Mexicanno w/ Nikki Knight - Well the Midwest Mob finally forms a full unit for real, instead of just using it as a promotional tool for bookings and such--and have several matches against each other in the process. I don't think Gakiya has ever acted heelish. The commentary team can't believe Gakiya is with Axis and CJ...well you haven't looked at their website or Myspace pages, cause there's numerous photos of them together, and Brett & CJ compete as "Zero Gravity" down in NMW. They just haven't paid attention. Brett grabs Nikki, and she slaps him. Desperate Mex starts against Brett, armdrags are traded, CJ in double dropkick. Mex with a backbreaker, Ray in but eats a boot. Ray still gets a tornado DDT. CJ tags Brett and Axis, double team lungblower, double stomp gets two. Ray is isolated, Axis WIPES his boot in Ray's face! CJ in, wheelbarrow, tries to hop Axis but doesn't clear him and just lands an elbow. CJ with a dropkick, Brett threatens to suplex Ray into the crowd, but hops and sits on him for two. Slingshot double stomp to the ankle, hard kick to the back, Brett snap mare, springboard into a knee to the back and rear chinlock hold. Cute. Hez tries to hip toss him, but gets elbowed in the face, Brett gets the springboard into a reverse DDT. CJ in, whip springboard, and Hez finally lands a dropkick. The two are on the wrong sides, CJ stomps Hez, Brett in, eats a boot, Hez hits him with the blockbuster! Tags, Axis and Big Pappa. Pappa with a hard clothesline and its lights out, elbows get one broken up. CJ the smallest guy pounds on the 400 pounder, and gets chopped EXTREMELY HARD! Sitout piledriver on CJ! Axis is the legal man though, so no count. The chops are still flying, the Mob hit dropkicks on Pappa and send him out. Mex and Hez try to help, but Axis powerbombs Hez, shooting star press and dragonfly on Hez and Mex and they get the pin. I thought Pappa was the legal man? The Midwest Mob stand tall. Axis bullies Nikki some more and she flees the arena.

WINNERS: The Midwest Mob pin -> 11:05 mins. ***½

Kyle Rich w/ Joe the Ringguy vs. Jester - Kyle works the arm, and pretty much outwrestles Jester, dropkicking him to the floor. Jester though lands a knee to the gut, slam and legdrop for two. Jester with a reverse suplex gets two. Kyle takes him down with a crossbody, and the ref counts to nine. Sunset gets two, Jester with a poke, but Kyle with a running uppercut gets two. He misses a dropkick however, and Jester hits a double underhook powerbomb for two. And we're under a minute left in the time limit. Jester goes for the unprettier, Joe hops on the apron, Jester shoves him off, Kyle rolls him up and gets the pin just under the wire. Pretty much a slow match all the way through, but both were quite banged up from two weeks ago. Jester throws a big fit afterward.

WINNER: Kyle Rich pin -> 9:50 mins. *¾

I should note here that Dewey Dawson & Stumpy are officially the tag team champions, but for some reason they allowed other members of the Geek Council to defend the belts by proxy, like the Spirit Squad, but it is my view that the duo that won the belts, are the ones that have to defend the belts. Since the official title holders are not teaming in this gauntlet, I'm considering the titles vacant.

NGW Tag Team Championship - Gauntlet Match
NGW Heavyweight Champ Ryan Phoenix & PC Champ Andy Roberts vs. SLW Tag Champs Eric Ruffington & Blake Steel - Well this is the first match Blake has wrestled since being booted out of NMW in some sort of blowup against the promoter, which is difficult for me to understand. If his attitude is as horrible as they claim it is, then he shouldn't last very long at NGW, since the promoter doesn't put up with bad attitudes. Ruffington/Steel won the SLW tag titles a few weeks ago, defeating another version of the Geek Council. So here we go! Ruff and Steel get the upper hand early, then proceeds to some mat wrestling with Blake and Andy. Blake though seems to losing to Andy, hit with a flapjack for two. The singles champs take turns on Steel, Ryan locks a bearhug, Steel claps his ears and backdrops him. Ryan with a poke, double team suplex attempt is escaped, and Ruffington's in. Clotheslines and backdrops for the heels, Ruffington/Steel go for their team finisher on Phoenix but Andy superkicks Blake DEAD for the pin.

WINNERS: Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts pin -> 7:10 mins. SPLIT

Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts vs. The Original Geek Council - Dewey Dawson & Gilbert Lewis w/ Omega Moo - Who's Omega Moo? Ohhh, I recognize her, she had worked concessions for NGW for quite a long time. The singles champs stomp the geeks but get atomic dropped for it, and they proceed to stall. Dewey starts out with a suplex on Ryan, Lewis hits a spinning neckbreaker and legdrop for two. Geeks double elbows get two. Ryan hits a DVD against the knee, Andy with a legdrop gets two. Andy goes to the top, flying legdrop gets only canvas and nearly gets pinned. Andy rolls Dewey and shoulderblocks him in the corner, Ryan tags in and punts him for one. Ryan with the whip and they double clothesline themselves. Tags Andy and Lewis, Gilbert clobbers everyone, Geeks try their double team finisher but Andy superkicks Lewis, Phoenix with the torture rack drop and gets the pin.

WINNERS: Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts pin -> 14:50 mins. SPLIT

Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts vs. Morton Von Prose & Black Dragon - MVP is sporting a new look. Dragon and Andy start, and Dragon works the arm, but gets clotheslined off a kip up. Ryan hits a neckbreaker for two. Tag Andy, he hits a faceslam for two, but Dragon clotheslines him and tags MVP. He gets a suplex and works the arm, but gets jawbreakered down and Ryan locks in a sleeper, until he backbreakers him down. MVP has enough and tosses the heels out, he attempts to suplex Andy back in but Ryan trips him, Dragon has full opportunity to break up the pin but stupidly goes outside...and they lose.

WINNERS: Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts pin -> 22:40 mins. SPLIT

Ryan Phoenix & Andy Roberts vs. Stumpy & Dennis Devine - Hmmm, could Phoenix and Roberts run the table? Stumpy knocks them down, slaps their backs and hits a crossbody for two. Roberts with a rake, Phoenix and Devine in, Phoenix gets hip tossed to ropes, Devine with an inverted bronco buster...which is very embarrassing for a straight person. Ryan runs from him and tags Andy, Define with the headscissors and suplex, Andy with an enzuigiri and tags Phoenix who hits a LOW BLOW. Devine dropkicks him however and tags Stumpy. The heels get demolished, until Ryan hits an enzuigiri sending him out, following by a suicide dive. Devine tries a sunset flip on Andy but it's blocked, MVP comes out to draw Andy's attention, Devine locks in a small package and gets the pin.

WINNERS and NEW CHAMPS: Stumpy & Dennis Devine pin -> 28:35 mins. ***½

I really should had rated each match seperate...but each of them fell in the range of *½-**½ so this was a sum total rating. Dawson & Lewis come out to celebrate with the new champs, but they blow them off and leave. Hmmmm...hopefully that ends the proxy defenses for good. Now we are at the official end of the show, because what follows is unsanctioned.

Hardcore Match
Buzz Rogers vs. Apocolypse - Apoc stuffed Buzz in a box two weeks ago, so he wants revenge. Apoc comes out with something that looks like a cane. Wonder if NMW would book Apoc if NGW don't want him? Buzz with a SPEAR, but Apoc clotheslines him outside...and now I'm forced to gather my toys and flee. Arrgh! Buzz gets thrown into the wall, then nearly slams him into a freshly cooked pizza at the concession table, but gets away. Buzz charges Apoc against the wall but crashes into the bricks. Apoc throws him against the wall again, then into a fan, fetches a broom, and chokes him. Apoc throws Buzz into the bleaches and actually forces EVERYONE sitting up there to move! Buzz gets a LOW BLOW, another toss into the bleachers, and I think one of them is gonna break sooner or later. Buzz gets dropped on the floor, then thrown into the bleachers ANOTHER time! Crazy! Buzz face slams Apoc into the top row, some fans aren't moving, Buzz gets shoved down the stairs and more people are scattering, Apoc tries a chokeslam but Buzz DDTs him into the seats. Buzz with multiple chairshots only get two. Apoc shoves him into the ringpost, puts him in the ring finally, tosses weaponry in, lidshot by Apoc and only gets two. Buzz is bleeding from a cut on the face. PILEDRIVER on the trashcan lid by Buzz! Buzz fetches a couple ladders. He puts Apoc in a ladder sandwich, and chairshots them repeatedly! Buzz rides a ladder down onto Apoc, but can't cover him. Buzz goes up again, diving headbutt gets nothing but ladder! Yeek! You know I wonder how Buzz doesn't have a concussion. Apoc backbreaker into a reverse DDT gets two. Apoc can't believe it. Apoc whips him across, but Buzz takes a bad tumble out with a ladder. Yeek! Apoc locks in a bearhug, Buzz claps his hands on the ears to break free, hits a shoulderblock, LOW BLOW, clothesline in the corner, but Apoc hits a cradle DDT and gets the pin. Crazy brawl.

WINNER: Apocolypse pin -> 15:20 mins. ****

Apoc ain't done, he jams a chair into Buzz and shoves the ref down, until a fan jumps in the ring and yells at Apoc that he's had enough. He gets a chair to whack the fan but Robbie McCaine whacks Apoc with the chair and gets pumphandle powerslammed as a result as the fan pulls Buzz out of the ring. The EMTs have to attend to McCaine.

The Verdict: The first half was pretty much blah, the second half had to do a lot to make up for the first half and gets it up to thumbs leaning up. The street fight was the standout, the gauntlet and six-man were the only other matches to watch, the rest is a pass. We'll see what they do next.

Thumbs leaning up.

i dont get what you dont understand about DIFFERENT FEDS HAVE DIFFERENT STORYLINES.. get over it.. you "reporting" of shows and adding in storylines from every fed every person wrestles in is rediculous. put down your note book and your tape recorder and just watch the show.. you get 75% of the things in your reports wrong anyway so its not like anyones gonna miss them..

I'm perfectly aware of "angle clash".

You may be aware of "angle clash," but are you also aware that it doesn't matter to anyone but you? And who are you to decide that NGW's tag titles are vacant just because you don't like the story line? It's up to the promoter to decide if the titles are vacant or not, not "The Mad Conservative Crimefighter." It may be a bad way to do it. Report that. Don't make things up just to suit you. That's not reporting.

The champs didn't team up in this gauntlet, they wrestled on seperate teams, there was no way the champs were gonna retain in this, thus they were vacated.

They were the champs coming in to the event. There were new champs coming out. By your standard any championship match has a vacant title while the match is going on.

Also, I saw you complain about a fed having a "world championship" and how it couldn't be called that because the title had never been defended out of the country. Ever here of the World Series of Major League Baseball? I know, Canada. But two cities barely over the U.S. border hardly qualifies as "The World." About the only events that do qualify are the Olympics and soccer's World Cup.

They were vacated as soon as the two champs entered the tourney on completely seperate teams...Dewey Dawson and Stumpy, as champs, entered the tourney as Dawson & Lewis...and Stumpy & Devine. If you wanna be VERY technical about it, only Stumpy retained his title but has a new partner.

all 4 of them could defend the titles as any 2some.. therefore dawson/lewis defended those titles or maybe stumpy/devine were the ones defending them... either way stumpy/devine ARE the NGW tag champs.. deal with it..

and in NGW PNut is PNut.. doesnt matter her name in anyother fed..

and since you gotta list everything about everyone where was SCW QC Champion before my name??
