Another episode of Ringside Chat gets some reaction...
Last Sunday they filmed what was a "barbed wire street fight" at the Black Sheep Cafe. I went, if only to return a couple DVDs I borrowed and chatter with someone I hadn't heard from in quite a while. It was well not an enhancement to your wrestling career, and apparently the organizations the two were associated with were not thrilled about their acronyms mentioned on the air because the public at large will think it's sanctioned by them or indictative of their product or something. I think the fire is being directed to the wrong parties here. I think the fire should be directed to the duo who think this is what their viewers want to see. Yes the two hosts. I've figured out the perfect analogy to describe them, and I'm probably not the first to say it. The singer at the karaoke bar has a bunch of their friends come up to tell them their singing and performance was awesome, and that they should try out for American Idol. The singer goes to the show, does their performance and thinks they nailed it perfectly. Well Simon Cowell gives them the bad news, that they are horrible and wonder what made them want to try out in the first place. The singer protests my friends say my singing is awesome and then proceeds to have a meltdown. It's pretty much like that, as long as their "friends like it"...however many that is...no one else's opinion matters, including those with broadcast experience. Unfortunately, lately it's been far less about wrestling and more gossip and trash talk about their friends. I know of a certain radio show that was like that, and they're not around no more.
Last time I discussed the issue, a couple comments were interesting. If people are yelling and screaming at the television then it's good TV...well I saw some environmentalist wacko piece on National Geographic, yelled they're full of crap and flipped the channel.

BTW, anyone who appears on that show, and gets second-thoughts to where they don't want anyone to see them on that show and wants me to pull an episode offline, you are required to talk to the hosts of the show about it.
