Has anyone even attempted to get back that $65,000 that Justin Gettys' embezzled? Seriously, the Stallions might still be around if that didn't happen.

A woman filed suit last week against the Springfield Stallions football club and others alleging she was badly injured when a player fell over the wall of the indoor football field and slammed into her. Wendy Pickel filed the lawsuit April 9.
The complaint claims that Pickel was attending a game on April 14, 2007, and that a player fell over the wall that separated spectators from the field on the floor of the Prairie Capital Convention Center.
“(Pickel) is unable to attend to her daily tasks and continues to be unable to attend to her daily tasks following the aforesaid injuries,” the lawsuit says. She’s seeking more than $50,000.
In addition to the Stallions, which is no longer in existence, the suit names as defendants the Continental Indoor Football League, Justin Gettys, D’Lo Brown, Kris Underwood, the Prairie Capital Convention Center and the Springfield Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority.
Gettys was ousted as an owner of the team last May amid questions about financial mismanagement. Brown and Underwood were two of the other owners.
The Stallions finished 0-12 in the inaugural year in the Continental Indoor Football League.
