The Rap Sheet - Scott County Wrestling's Epic 8/21/2004
The Rap Sheet - from the Mad Conservative
Scott County Wrestling's Epic
8/21/2K4 Donahue, IA

The views expressed by MCCF are solely my own and don't match up with anyone else. Since I'm unfamiliar with much of the talent don't get mad if I make a mistake.

Epic leads off with two guys having drinks who apparently will wrestle each other relunctantly, a third guy walks in with a banana and apparently got a good deal on drinks.

We switch to somewhere else with a man at the table, someone who apparently is his opponent walks in, he wants to shake on their match but the other guy refuses.

Another man is playing pool [Zero] and someone walks in with a blowhorn [DuhYeager]. Guy is whispering into the thing, walks into the next room where some very overweight guy, T-Buff, is sitting on the floor asleep. The pool player tries to check on him and the other guy rolls over him while a referee counts a pinfall. Supposed T-Buff is a hardcore champ or something and he was trying to steal it but of course Zero never wins.

Switch to another scene, someone hits Tank Roberts from behind and runs off.

Back to playing pool, Chris Angle complains about SCW being around a year and gripes at two guys for being on a losing streak. He tells them to step it up and slaps them both. One of them says they'll get aggressive.

Wisdom says he's gonna be wrestling Ironside, Elite and Danny tonight. Some ref says it's all cool.

Switch to the commentators booth, Jack Davidson id's himself and runs down his partner Masterpiece Mark Storm. They debate the lineup tonight. Storm REALLY buries Colt Cabana, the NWA IL Champ going up against Mr. Elite. They finally have the ring announcer Mike Jablowski announce the first bout. Kinda low ceiling venue it looks like. Live from Don's Pub.

Chris Angle who was playing pool earlier is in the ring running his mouth. The SCW Commish comes out and tells him no one cares about how much he hates everyone and SLUGS HIM. He runs down the card further.

Handicap Match
Buff-E-Nuff - K-Buff, T-Buff, & F-Buff vs. Big Mike & Troy Mercury - Troy Mercury become Wesley Thornton shortly after this. Mike slams F-Buff repeatedly, so the smaller K-Buff in and they shoulderblock each other to double knockdowns. Troy Mercury with a fisherman's suplex for one. K-Buff tries the sliced bread but gets sunset flipped off the top instead for two. Big Mike in but gets clipped, and the sumo guy is tagged in. He elbows the knee and Mike freaks out. F-Buff goes to work on that leg. K-Buff SPEARS the knee! T-Buff stumbles and and the other buffs whip Mike into him. Heel miscommunication, well they try whipping T-Buff into Mike but he flops to the mat as he gets too exhausted halfway across the ring. Mike with an inverted death valley driver on K-Buff. Troy stomps away, SUPERKICK on T-Buff and pins him. T-Buff needs to start a weight loss program, badly.

WINNERS: Big Mike & Troy Mercury pin -> 8:30 mins. *½

"Natural" Nathan Ironside vs. Johnny Wisdom - Ironside gets a cheap shot and Mark Storm with an illegal choke. Ironside with a couple of hammerlock takedowns. Ironside works the arm. Wisdom finally goes after an arm himself but his own is bothering him quite a bit. Ironside keeps going back to that arm and hits another hammerlock takedown. He maintains the armbar but Wisdom gets the rope and Ironside refuses to release it, ref finally DQs him. Elite and his army rush out to wreck the arm some more with a chair before being run off by Colt Cabana and Nevin Knoxville.

WINNER: Johnny Wisdom DQ -> 4:15 mins. ¾*

2/3 Falls Match
Jerkel vs. Gixx - Gixx is now billed as Tyler Black these days. First fall: Jerkel slaps Gixx and gets the armbar. They switch around on hammerlocks, Gixx rolls thru with a leglock. Jerkel scissors the leg, Gixx gets a modified dragon sleeper but turns it loose before he pins himself. Gixx works that shoulder and Jerkel bails. Jerkel pounds Gixx in the corner and hits a running knee to the face. Jerkel with three straight inverted DDT backbreakers for two. Jerkel locks in that stranglehold and hits some more backbreakers and a suplex for two. Jerkel with a brainbuster gets two. Jerkel with a snap mare, dropkick to the back and splashes him in ONE motion for two. Gixx comes to life and chops him hard, ten punch count in the corner, but gets spinebustered by Jerkel. Jerkel whip splash misses, Gixx kicks him hard in the back, puts him on top, goes up, Gixx tries to side suplex but its blocked, he pounds him and tries again but gets shoved down. Jerkel goes outside, slingshots in and hits an enzuigiri. Gixx outside, Jerkel charges to dive on him but eats a forearm and gets pinned at 10:45 mins. No, the foot was on the rope! Jerkel with a DDT. Gixx pounds him however, and hits a sick looking spinning tombstone piledriver like move for the pin at 11:55 mins. Jerkel dodges an enzuigiri, catches the leg and flips him over but catching him with a neckbreaker when he hits the mat. Gixx comes back with an enzuigiri for two. Gixx with a BOOT and powers up, Jerkel with a BOOT, one leg pickup and drops him in another neckbreaker. Gixx small package gets three!

WINNER: Gixx (2-0) pin, pin -> 18 mins. ***¾

Match had a slow start but really picked up a ways in. Also shows why Gixx is wrestling in IWA Mid-South now. Gixx wants to shake but Buff-E-Nuff run out and hit Sliced Bread on both guys! T-Buff runs his mouth about not being good enough to join his clique. I don't think I'd want T-Buff as my leader.

Idiot who thinks he's Jimmy Hart, calling himself DuhYeager hands Zero the bullhorn for him to issue an open challenge to anyone in the back for Zero to be his first victory. Zero at this point is 0-19. Well his own manager goes to the back, then comes back out ready to wrestle him!

Zero vs. DuhYeager - Not to be confused with Zero of Void Effect, he has some sort of toy gun shooting projectiles at DuhYeager who SPEARS him down in response. Zero with a slam. Zero does some handstand walk to do a legdrop but gets tripped. DuhYeager with a suplex, slam, he runs the ropes but gets kicked in the gut. Zero with a neckbreaker and twists on the neck. Zero pounds him and gives him a big wedgie. Zero screams at a fan, DuhYeager nails him, but gets drop toe hold'ed. Zero sets him up and climbs the ropes, he can't balance himself and falls backward. Dummy. DuhYeager gets the megaphone, tells the ref about someone in the crowd and BLASTS Zero with it for the pin. Stupid match.

WINNER: DuhYeager pin -> 4:30 mins. ½*

Zero didn't seem to care that he lost and states he can't do this anymore and wants to quit. Mad Dog Ganz comes out and award Zero the Barry Horowitz Jobber of the Year award. And the people start throwing balloons and confetti in the ring. Okay whatever.

We jump to someone's apartment and a guy sitting on the toliet. Yeah we REALLY needed to see that. This guy says he is backing out of his scheduled match (whoever it is) but he's entering a substitute.

Hardcore Match - Falls Count Anywhere

Youngblood attacks Sinnister, Youngblood powerbombs Gage into something, it's a wooden TV cart. Andrews nails Youngblood with a realtor sign. Well they appear to be going back inside finally, Andrews slams Gage. Sinnister nails Youngblood with a keyboard! Key to victory they say. BAD. Youngblood nails Sinnister with something, can't se. Youngblood puts Gage in, Andews is tearing up Gage's head with a cheese grater. Sinnister with a kendo shot on Snake Eyes! Standing choke by Sinnister, someone count a pin? There's still confetti all over. Where's the referee? Youngblood fetched something from outside, trayshot on Sinnister, Youngblood has a piece of fence, slingshot senton on Sinnister! Can't see the other guys here. Youngblood and Andrews set up fencing in the corner, thumbtacks are put the ring. Andrews and Sinnister fight on the outside, Gage goes after Youngblood who steps into mousetraps. Gage and Andrews fight kendo vs. chair. Andrews and Gage on the apron and shoves Gage into a pool of mousetraps!!! And he snaps one on his fingers. Gage is bloody, Andrews PEDIGREE in the tacks!!! And he's rolling in them! Yeek! Knoxville the ref ain't going in to count a cover. Sinnister with a chairshot, Gage with a DVD into the tacks for two! But Sinnister nails his OWN partner with a chair? Youngblood puts Andrews on top for three.

WINNERS: The New School pin -> 18 mins. N/A

I'm gonna pass on rating this cause it the camerawork was poor and made it impossible to see much of anything. Nevin Knoxville nails Youngblood and throws him outside. He gets back in and Angle slams him on the tack! Sinnister and Andrews set up Gage for a SPEAR by Youngblood into the fence!

Last Man Standing
Mississippi Madman vs. Hardcore KC - I wanted to get this tape solely to watch this contest, cause someone didn't believe they should be fighting in this kind of match at this stage of their careers. This is what PROFESSIONAL wrestling has become. A group of guys who are either not all trained or half-trained by mini-camps can draw crowds of 150+ & the real indy feds are drawing half of that. It urks me & makes me wonder why guys like McKay, Cabana, & Sinnister would even get involved. Just my two cents & since I am no longer on anyone's active roster for a couple months...I'll throw it in.

You know it's funny how once upon a time Talon tried to recruit a bunch of ScW guys for WWA. Talon is nothing more than a pissed off poser who thinks he is hot shit. Talon you are nothing and you will never be anything in this business except for a huge mark. Talon you are bitter about the fact that ScW blew you off and you are bitter about the fact that we are better than you in every single way. I have one question for you talon is anybody that works for your company wrestling in the IWA Mid South Ted Petty Invitational against AJ Styles? I didn't think so.

"You know it's funny how once upon a time Talon tried to recruit a bunch of ScW guys for WWA."- True I did...but ONLY the one's willing to TRAIN "Talon is nothing more than a pissed off poser who thinks he is hot shit."- A poser would be someone who pretend to be something they are not...I never said I was hot shit, I stated my two cents...you don't like it, I don't care. My two cents is based on what I know...you guys weren't all completely trained last I knew. If that's changed then fine, but. "Talon you are nothing and you will never be anything in this business except for a huge mark."- A mark is someone who sits on the sidelines...I don't fit in that category. "Talon you are bitter about the fact that ScW blew you off and you are bitter about the fact that we are better than you in every single way."- Bitter? I lose no sleep over the fact that some spoiled kids started their own fed & people actually came to see them in the begining even though they weren't trained. Good for you congrats...you made the QC fans think that's wrestling. Hey I have no prblem with that, you, or your company IF in fact everyone is now trained. If you are then I withdraw the previous statement. "I have one question for you talon is anybody that works for your company wrestling in the IWA Mid South Ted Petty Invitational against AJ Styles? I didn't think so."- What company? I am currently NOT on anyone's active roster. I am still w/ WWA, just on hiatus right now until my son is born. The indy wrestling scene here is all alot of politics...you can have great talent in a fed & if CM Punk,Styles, Preist, or someone of that nature at a show regularly no one gives a shit. I personally think the WWA has got some great talent right now: Botch, Chase Richards, Wes Benton, Choas, WC, Kurt Rigsby...I mean these guys are all known names in IL & other areas.
So we could have a immature convo about this forever...what good will come of it? Bad attitudes. I don't want that, we're all in the same biz...let's act like it.

Are you saying the SCW guys don't do ANY training whatsoever? Why the heck would Colt Cabana, Danny Daniels, Tony Scarpone, Nate Webb, crap Mr. Elite and and anyone else from NMW going up there would want to work for them then? Or any of the guys from Next Generation? If you wanna see some crap feds, I can show you some crap feds Talon.

And if I want to see crap reports, I can come to you any time right? All I said is what I know that was true in the beginning. They were not trained when they first started & the only training I heard about was mini-camps. So if it's untrue now then sorry, but this has little to do w/ you so please just back off.

T-Buff has a problem with Jerkel and Gixx because they were the original Buff-E-Nuff... But they left after realizing that T-Buff is a loser! He then recruited K-Buff and F-Buff... and recently they added a 3rd member, B-Buff.

Nick vs Keith wasn't a LOSER LEAVES TOWN match... It was a LOSER LEAVES THE STORE match... They both worked at the same grocery store.. The boss said someone had top be cut due to the fact that the store wasn't making enough money, so they agreed to have a match to detirmine who would go....

Keith was supposedly gone from ScW as well.. So, at the next show, Nick introduced his new partner, Heath Halfsale. (Who looked alot like Keith with Groucho glasses on!) At the following show, Heath was revealed to be Keith and Angle fired him. After missing a few shows, Ganz offered him his job back and Aisle 9 was reuinited!

Oh yeah... The person who told Nick to change his name was Danny Daniels..

Also... in the street fight... The guy on the toilet before the match was Gage Blagojevich... His "stand in" was Nitemare... Yes, they are the same person... However, Gage does not realize this... It's a long story.. but, the basic premise is that he has a split personality...
And, it was Gage who jumped off the "mobile home" (which was actually a post office building) onto Youngblood who was laid out on a table covered in chickenwire...
Synister attacked Gage at the end of the match because he was brought in by Angle. He then joined Angles stable, which was known as The New School at that time.. they have since changed their name to The Synners ("Synical" Steven Youngblood, Synister and "Assassyn" Nevin Knoxville)

This show was during a time when we were searching for a good cameraman... We went through several of them.. Unfortunately, the quality of the videos shows this.. The shows during this time were much better live! We have a new cameraman now... And, from what I hear, he does a pretty good job. I haven't had a chance to see any of the shows he taped. (I have been too busy designing the DVD covers for them! Yes, that was a cheap plug for me! LOL!)

Hopefully you will get the chance to see another show.. Maybe even attend a live show sometime.. I feel that our product gets better with each show...

Well whether it was leaving the store or leaving the fed, makes no difference.

DANNY DANIELS told him to change his name? Bah humbug!

The original plan was to split Aisle 9 up... But, it was later decided that they would remain a team... They have both been working singles matches recently, but they will team up at the next show to face Buff-E-Nuff for the Tag Titles!

And, yep... it was Danny Daniels who told him to change his name... It was also Daniels who told Gixx to go with a different name... Which is why he wrestles as Tyler Black everywhere but ScW...

If Danny Daniels thinks we are TOO STUPID to tell the difference between Steve Stone and Nick Stonewall, he needs to get a clue.
