It's the end of an era...

I usually don't travel long distance JUST to watch a wrestling show, but I had ideas to go to St. Louis for the day so I planned to do stuff during the day to make such a trip worth the trouble...and it wasn't bad. Union Station (rather interesting), the Science Museum (more geared for kids), and Dave & Busters (always a favorite).
Your ring announcer and promoter is Chris Powell. Live from the Vetta Sports Club's indoor soccer field, where it's a form of turf that feels like grass and has dirt underneath. Attendance was about 150-175 or so. The referees are introduced. Powell announces that Searcher isn't gonna be here tonight, as I thought despite them scheduling the match. Game we'll play tonight is pick the fed they will end up going to where you think they will best fit. Yeah there's the likelihood they are gonna form a new fed entirely, but for the sake of this game we'll just assume they aren't and go from there.
Damian Blade as "Custom Made" comes out first to speak. He thanks everyone for the 5 years they were going. He then introduces his former tag team partner, Tommy Cross. Wow, he's here? Cross says the Unholy Alliance revolutionized tag team wrestling in MPW. Someone's music hits, it's Fenix Rising! A comment is made that the fans want to see wreslting so pure that it makes the Virgin Mary look like a slut. After a not so positive reaction, he says let's get it on like Donkey Kong. Fenix Rising vs. Unholy Alliance? Fenix notes correctly, the state commission won't let it happen. Yeah the MoDPR are a bunch of greedy pricks. So they just shake hands and are done with it, give MPW one round of applause and get the show on the road. Oh there's more to say, Blade says Searcher won't be here tonight cause he tore up his knee. So Blade decides he wants to wrestle the Future Brian Fantasy in a tribute match. So out comes Brian M. Fantasy, this is the future? Is the future now? Before they even start the match, someone ELSE comes out. It's Mr. Insecurity Erebus, Xavier Frost, Scar, and Mr. Biggs. Frost ditches the accent and scoffs at Brian M. being the best he's ever trained. He touts his Legion, and they proceed to attack Blade and Fantasy. DVD on Fantasy. And now someone elses music hits. Uriah and Curtis Payne rush out. Frost calls Mr. Bigg over and says he was never a part of the Legion and they slug him. Frost can't get warm enough to fire anyone really. Payne starts to talk and the crowd starts getting promo fatigue chanting boring. They make the match tonight, The Agency vs. Frost & Scar vs. Blade & Fantasy as the main event. Then everyone's chased to the back.
MPW Hardcore Championship - Fatal Four Way
(c)Napalm vs. Rick Stone vs. Kev G vs. "The Pawn" Ivan Strogonav - The time limit is set to ten minutes, whoever scores the last fall in the match is recognized as the final hardcore champion. Kev G is the only person I've seen of this group. Napalm does a speech before the match making an open challenge, and asks for multiple opponents, mocking each one of them. The Pawn has a broken flag on the back of his hood. Last one with the belt is the final champion after ten minutes. DDT on Kev G off the bat. Move blocked on Stone, a toliet seat gets pulled out, barbed wire. Double clothesline by Stone and Kev misses and they tumble out. Stone rammed in the rail, Napalm on the top rope, noggin knock by Ivan as Napalm dives on all three of them on the field. Someone has a boxing glove...Kev G gets KO'ed, Stone has Kev G...suplex! Napalm works Ivan on the outside, canshot by Stone on Kev, Ivan suplexes Napalm on the grass. Stone whips Kev, clothesline. Kev with a headbutt to the side of Stone, has the kendo. Ivan throws Napalm into a barbed wire board. Kev gets a two count, cover on the floor but the ref ain't no where. Napalm appears to be covered with bloody punchures on his back...but it's actually DIRT! Kev with a canshot on Stone, legdrop on stone, someone complains about a choke but it's LEGAL. Lookout! Someone's thrown IN THE STEEL in front of us, Kev and Stone. Ivan gets a pinfall on Napalm outta nowhere and the title at 4:50 mins. So the match continues, KENDO SHOTS on Ivan are ineffective! Kev gets KENDO SHOTTED! He's gonna have a concussion outta that. Kev with a DDT on Ivan gets two. Kev clotheslines someone, headbutt, splash on Ivan gets two! BUT HE DIDN'T GET A SHOULDER UP! WTF??? Well Lee Carpenter is just as crooked as always. He recounts a two. Napalm nails Ivan with a chair, Stone pulls Kev, barbed wire chairshot on Ivan...yeah he's wearing so much clothes not gonna do much! Chair in the ring, a WINDOW FAN is fetched, Russian leg sweep gets a two count. Chairshot on Ivan, 90 seconds left. And Kev G is leaving the ring, bleeding badly from a prior kendo shot. Drop toe hold into the chair by Napalm on Ivan, Stone dumped out, Napalm drops a chair on Stone's head. Napalm MOONSAULT on the barbed wire board on Ivan and gets the pin at 9:05 mins. Stone with a canshot and rollup for two. Chairshot attempt is blocked, barbed wire board in the middle of the ring, Ivan with a powerbomb variant on the barbed wire board goes Napalm and wins the title back with one second left.
WINNER and NEW CHAMP: "The Pawn" Ivan Strogonav pin -> 10 mins. *¾
Okay match, with some cool spots thrown in with the junk. Napalm being a sore loser attacks Rick Stone and Samoan drops him! And then proceeds to moonsault on Stone! What was that about? I happen to notice Kev G walking to the exit with a towel on his head, and he's headed for the hospital to get stapled. Where they will go: Kev G to GAW or NMW, The Pawn to RCW, Napalm to UWA, Stone to MMWA-SICW.
Mixed Tag Match
Trinity & Ivana vs. MPW Ladies Champ Jaden & Gary Michael G - GMG is some guy in a mask that ACTS like a girl. Ivana slugs G, G with a hair yank. Ivana with a rope burn and chops away. G acts all girly after getting chopped. Tag Trinity, chop, snap mare, dropkick, whip crossbody gets one. Tag Jaden, hits a few hip tosses before getting suplexed for one. Trinity with a half camel, then a hurraconranna for one. Jaden with a powerbomb for two. Jaden whip but Trinity tags Ivana and bails, Jaden just stands there for Ivana to hit a crossbody from the top for two. Ivana with a figure four, Jaden turns it but it's let loose. So everyone tags out. Trinity with a slap on G, sunset flip for two. G with a KO punch...hey he just HIT A GIRL! Whip clothesline G, death valley driver! Yeek, tag Jaden, whip spin kick, elbows, G in, but Trinity with double clothesline. Everyone tags, Ivana hits the clotheslines and dropkicks. G decides to plant a KISS on Ivana, she is stunned, G rollup and three! Heh. Comedy mixed richly with the wrestling.
WINNERS: Jaden & Gary Michael G pin -> 8:35 mins. *½
Oh wait, G wants the mike and remarkably pulls off the mask. He says he's been here a long time, prancing around for their entertainment, like a girl, he loved every minute of it. He makes some sexist remark about enjoying rolling around with the women and all three girls proceed to kick the crap out of him. G says it was still worth it. Well finally we see the identity of this guy. Powell says he has a gift for someone, kids are begging for what Powell has in his hand. For some reason Chris Powell thought it funny to toss me a GMG doll. Yeah like I need to be the butt of ANOTHER gay joke. The kids in front of me want it badly so I toss it to them. Enjoy kids! Okay where will they end up? Gary Michael G to LWA, Ivana to GCW, Jaden & Trinity to retire.
NWA Midwest X Division Championship
(c)Delirious vs. Matt Sydal vs. Ryan Ash vs. "Crocodile Kid" Dan Walsh - Well if everything else sucks tonight, at least we'll get one GREAT match out of this. Walsh says he's the Croc Kid, and due to Missouri regulations he can't wrestle any wild animals tonight. So he'll settle for Delirious...OY! Ryan Ash comes out wearing a pink shirt, and oh geez, runs through the crowd accosting people. Great, ANOTHER GAY GUY, and I get up and walk away from my seat until he gets in the ring. Delirious proceeds to freak out everyone running around the ring, funny. Sydal and Ash start. Standing switches until they trade slaps. Matt with armdrags, dropkick. Tag Croc, tag Delirious. And all the guys are acting dorky with the hair and tights. Headlock Delirious, shoveoff, shoulderblock has no effect and Delirious starts yelling. Posing shoulderblock by Delirious, armdrag by Croc, a wad of gum materializes from somewhere, and Delirious stuffs it in Croc's mouth! YUCK! Ash hits a clothesline off the top on Croc to send him out. But Delirious with a small package gets two, and he proceeds to clothesline Ash in the corner LITERALLY FIFTY TIMES!!! DANG! Tag Sydal, running enzuigiri in the corner on Ash, snap mare, legdrop from the second rope gets two. Sydal crossbody is caught, Ash back breaker, fallaway slam gets two. Push up choke hold by Ash, then does sits ups while holding a leg scissors. They get into a slugfest, Ash with a high knee, works the ankle and goes into a rear chinlock. Ash with a knee and choke, but Sydal hits a flying headscissors and tags Delirious. Headscissors on Ash, back breaker on Sydal, Croc with headscissors, and proceeds to dive on Delirious and Ash. Look out kids! SUICIDE DIVE by Sydal! Sydal and Ash in the ring, cover by Sydal gets two. Bunch of guys are covered with dirt. Sydal takes Ash, goes for a superplex, it's blocked, Sydal and Ash fight, DDT off the shoulders on Ash, Delirious off the top with a drop kick. Delirious with a running kick in the corner gets two, broken up by Croc. Sydal chop, headbutt, chop. Croc with a pickup slam, rolling senton, springboard senton gets two. And the crowd chants "This Match RULES!". Ash back in after Croc, whip reverse...goes for the UNPRETTIER! Clothesline Ash but Sydal turns it over for two. OK Roll by Sydal gets two. KICK TO THE FACE, Delirious goes up, Sydal hits a standing moonsault on Ash, Delirious with a legdrop off the top on Sydal! Delirious tries a clothesline but Croc with the ANGLE SLAM gets two. Ash dumps Croc out, slugs Delirious, Ash tries to suplex him but he slugs his way out, Delirious with hard shots, Ash misses, Delirious with the Kryonite Krunch on Ash and PINS HIM! Most tremendous. Crowd really liked it.
WINNER and STILL CHAMP: Delirious pin -> 15 mins. ****
Where do they go, Matt Sydal and Delirious to NWA TNA, Ryan Ash to NWA Midwest, Croc Kid to GCW. Halftime, finally get to talk to MsChif who was out there to watch and razz her over causing me to jump through a concession window back in April cause of their wild brawl got too close. Good to talk to.
MPW Television Championship - Triple Threat
(c)"Da Bomb" Brian James vs. The Hollywood Stud vs. "Rough Cut" Rick Ruby - Well it was supposed to be Brian James vs. Guy Smith, but maybe Guy Smith partied a little too hard the previous night and just couldn't be here. Crowd was yelling for him too, and I finally just yelled back he wasn't here. Unfortunately it resulted in combining two matches. Superkick on Stud by Ruby, James pounds away on Ruby. Powerslam by Stud on James and kicks him in the gut. Stud chops Ruby, rake by Ruby. Chop by Ruby, Ruby whips Stud in the corner, Ruby splashes him in the corner, low blows James. Ruby dumps James out, Ruby clubs Stud. Ruby whip, pickup spinebuster on Stud, not well executed. Ruby with a legdrop and James breaks up a count, getting two himself. James punches Stud in the corner, clothesline. Fisherman release suplex on Stud gets two. James is clotheslined, Stud spears Ruby in the corner. Stud manages to slam Ruby, he goes up, and does a shoulderblock of sorts. James tries to pick him up but loses his grip so he hits a legdrop for two. James backbreaker on Stud, Ruby on the second rope, legdrop gets two. James goes up without a target anywhere near, Stud has his tongue hanging out, Stud sees him and goes for a superplex, Ruby gets Stud on his shoulders and it's a stacked superplex...and Stud manages to land on his back as the execution looked ugly. Stud pounds on Ruby. Neckbreaker of sorts, James punches Stud, clothesline. Stud gets clotheslined out, Ruby goes after James with knees in the corner. Ruby chops, whip, belly to belly slam by James and gets the pin outta nowhere.

Just NOT a good triple threat with two guys that aren't in shape andh one man who is. Stud ain't done though, clotheslines James, picks a fight with Ruby but he throws him into the top rope. Where to, Brian James to GCW, Rick Ruby to Rampage to reform Brutality Inc. with Derek Davis, and Stud to Rampage.
2/3 Fall Match
Christian Haze vs. Chico Es Loco - First fall: Chico does some chain wrestling and a lot of switching around, CEL gets a trip for two. Haze with chops in the corner, CEL reverses the whip and Haze crashes in the corner. CEL chops away, hip toss, dropkick, legdrop gets two. CEL with a DDT gets two. Hard whip to the corner is reversed and CEL crashes in the corner. Haze with a slam and elbow, corner splash. He really telegraphs the second one, and CEL avoids easily. CEL pounds in the corner, whip spinning heel kick. CEL with a dropkick, hurranconranna, goes to the second rope and leaps but gets caught, powerbomb by Haze gets two. Suplex Haze gets two. Fisherman's suplex gets two. But CEL with a rollup, the rope and tights gets three at 8:25 mins. Haze complains about the underhand tactics and says he thought they were friends. Second fall: CEL pounds him on the heck, tornado DDT, and he kicks him on the mat. Well the gloves are off now. Gut wrench suplex by Haze, goes up, frog splash MISSES. Ref gets up to nine before CEL makes it on his feet. CEL goes up, Haze nails him, fisherman's bomb OFF THE TOP ROPE and gets the pin. Dang! Haze ties it at 1-1 after 12:50 mins. Well Haze could cover CEL and end it now cause he looks to be injured. But he wants the mike instead. He says this fued started three years ago, and his career took off when he teamed with CEL and became tag champions. Haze says because it's the final MPW event, their final match should just end in a tie. The heck? How generious, but I'm not buying it. CEL shakes hands...but sure enough SUPERKICK by Chico doesn't quite get all of Haze's face and gets the pin at 15:30 mins. Cause Chico plays to WIN.

Xavier Frost & Scar w/ Erebus vs. "Custom Made" Damian Blade & "The Future" Brian Fantasy w/ Chipster & Tommy Cross vs. The Agency - Uriah & Curtis Payne - Erebus is still very insecure. Blade and Payne start, they trade shoulderblocks. Tag Brian M. Tag Uriah. Lockup and Uriah goes to the waistlock, whip into the Legion corner. Uriah pounds away on Fantasy, whip into the corner, and Uriah hits a dropkick on the mat. Drop toe hold on Blade into Fantasy's lower region, Frost in, drop toe hold on him into Blade's rear. Payne and Scar in, Payne dropkicks Scar into Frost's rear and it's a groin line. And Mr. Bigg comes out to be the manager for the Agency. Agency suplexes Fantasy. Payne chops Future, chokes, Payne slugs Frost, and tags Scar. Well Blade is tagged, shoulderblock Scar, and Blade tags Uriah. Uriah works the leg, and clips Scar. Tag Blade who kicks away at him, double whip double clothesline Scar. Tag Frost, Frost hits a DDT on Future for two. Whip clothesline Frost on Brian M., knee by Frost. Tag Scar, he kicks him in the head, chops him in the corner. Tag Frost and covers for two. Frost pounds on Brian, and tags Payne. Fantasy comes to life and hits C in the gut, shoulderblocks in the corner. Tag Blade, RUDE AWAKENING Blade on Payne, attempts a top rope senton but MISSES the target! Payne with a blockbuster gets two. Tag Scar, he charges and Scar goes SAILING over the top! Uriah with a suicide tackle on Scar on the floor! Payne on the top, dives on the pile! Frost with a flying body tackle on the group. Brian in the ring, he dives on the pile! All three managers jump on the apron and get in the ring, Tommy Cross is thinking of getting in. Bigg and Chip shove each other, Erebus shoves them both down. Chip clotheslines Erebus, Bigg rolls him over and does a running splash! Chip then does for the people elbow on Erebus! And the managers take their exit as a "I smell lawsuit" chant starts going. Lawsuit from WHO? They want Chip to take the hat off, Brian M. suplexes Payne. Everyone's slow to get up, Fantasy whipped into the corner, Payne pickup, Uriah off the top with a decap clothesline on Fantasy and they get the pin!

Well a fun overbooked match to close the doors of MPW. Where do they go now...Scar to Rampage, Damian Blade to Heartland, Brian Fantasy to LWA, Xavier Frost to UWA, The Agency to GCW.
The entire lockerroom empties out to gather in the ring as "Turn the Page" plays over the sound system. Searcher chant rings out from the crowd to be recorded on the video. Powell thanks the crowd, wrestlers show appreciation. Christian Haze says he has one thing to say to Powell, "I love you MAN!" And the curtain comes down.
The Verdict: Well, in this final show it was evident what's been wrong with the fed for a long time in terms of ringwork. Match of the night was done by four that men that have been wrestling elsewhere for quite a while, only Haze & Loco could put on anything that comes close to that, though the final match was satisfactory. A real mixed bag and a match short overall tonight and that's all I could say to everyone that asked me. It's in the works that MPW is gonna reopen under a completely new name and management, just hope things turn out a little better.

Well finally we see the identity of this guy. Powell says he has a gift for someone, kids are begging for what Powell has in his hand. For some reason Chris Powell thought it funny to toss me a GMG doll. Yeah like I need to be the butt of ANOTHER gay joke. The kids in front of me want it badly so I toss it to them. Enjoy kids! (c)Delirious vs. Matt Sydal vs. Ryan Ash vs. "Crocodile Kid" Dan Walsh - Well if everything else sucks tonight, at least we'll get one GREAT match out of this. Walsh says he's the Croc Kid, and due to Missouri regulations he can't wrestle any wild animals tonight. So he'll settle for Delirious...OY! Ryan Ash comes out wearing a pink shirt, and oh geez, runs through the crowd accosting people. Great, ANOTHER GAY GUY, and I get up and walk away from my seat until he gets in the ring. Delirious proceeds to freak out everyone running around the ring, funny. Sydal and Ash start. Standing switches until they trade slaps. Matt with armdrags, dropkick. Tag Croc, tag Delirious. And all the guys are acting dorky with the hair and tights. Headlock Delirious, shoveoff, shoulderblock has no effect and Delirious starts yelling. Posing shoulderblock by Delirious, armdrag by Croc, a wad of gum materializes from somewhere, and Delirious stuffs it in Croc's mouth! YUCK! Ash hits a clothesline off the top on Croc to send him out. But Delirious with a small package gets two, and he proceeds to clothesline Ash in the corner LITERALLY FIFTY TIMES!!! DANG! Tag Sydal, running enzuigiri in the corner on Ash, snap mare, legdrop from the second rope gets two. Sydal crossbody is caught, Ash back breaker, fallaway slam gets two. Push up choke hold by Ash, then does sits ups while holding a leg scissors. They get into a slugfest, Ash with a high knee, works the ankle and goes into a rear chinlock. Ash with a knee and choke, but Sydal hits a flying headscissors and tags Delirious. Headscissors on Ash, back breaker on Sydal, Croc with headscissors, and proceeds to dive on Delirious and Ash. Look out kids! SUICIDE DIVE by Sydal! Sydal and Ash in the ring, cover by Sydal gets two. Bunch of guys are covered with dirt. Sydal takes Ash, goes for a superplex, it's blocked, Sydal and Ash fight, DDT off the shoulders on Ash, Delirious off the top with a drop kick. Delirious with a running kick in the corner gets two, broken up by Croc. Sydal chop, headbutt, chop. Croc with a pickup slam, rolling senton, springboard senton gets two. And the crowd chants "This Match RULES!". Ash back in after Croc, whip reverse...goes for the UNPRETTIER! Clothesline Ash but Sydal turns it over for two. OK Roll by Sydal gets two. KICK TO THE FACE, Delirious goes up, Sydal hits a standing moonsault on Ash, Delirious with a legdrop off the top on Sydal! Delirious tries a clothesline but Croc with the ANGLE SLAM gets two. Ash dumps Croc out, slugs Delirious, Ash tries to suplex him but he slugs his way out, Delirious with hard shots, Ash misses, Delirious with the Kryonite Krunch on Ash and PINS HIM! Most tremendous. Crowd really liked it.

(c)"Da Bomb" Brian James vs. The Hollywood Stud vs. "Rough Cut" Rick Ruby - Well it was supposed to be Brian James vs. Guy Smith, but maybe Guy Smith partied a little too hard the previous night and just couldn't be here. Crowd was yelling for him too, and I finally just yelled back he wasn't here. Unfortunately it resulted in combining two matches. Superkick on Stud by Ruby, James pounds away on Ruby. Powerslam by Stud on James and kicks him in the gut. Stud chops Ruby, rake by Ruby. Chop by Ruby, Ruby whips Stud in the corner, Ruby splashes him in the corner, low blows James. Ruby dumps James out, Ruby clubs Stud. Ruby whip, pickup spinebuster on Stud, not well executed. Ruby with a legdrop and James breaks up a count, getting two himself. James punches Stud in the corner, clothesline. Fisherman release suplex on Stud gets two. James is clotheslined, Stud spears Ruby in the corner. Stud manages to slam Ruby, he goes up, and does a shoulderblock of sorts. James tries to pick him up but loses his grip so he hits a legdrop for two. James backbreaker on Stud, Ruby on the second rope, legdrop gets two. James goes up without a target anywhere near, Stud has his tongue hanging out, Stud sees him and goes for a superplex, Ruby gets Stud on his shoulders and it's a stacked superplex...and Stud manages to land on his back as the execution looked ugly. Stud pounds on Ruby. Neckbreaker of sorts, James punches Stud, clothesline. Stud gets clotheslined out, Ruby goes after James with knees in the corner. Ruby chops, whip, belly to belly slam by James and gets the pin outta nowhere.

Just NOT a good triple threat with two guys that aren't in shape andh one man who is. Stud ain't done though, clotheslines James, picks a fight with Ruby but he throws him into the top rope. Christian Haze vs. Chico Es Loco - First fall: Chico does some chain wrestling and a lot of switching around, CEL gets a trip for two. Haze with chops in the corner, CEL reverses the whip and Haze crashes in the corner. CEL chops away, hip toss, dropkick, legdrop gets two. CEL with a DDT gets two. Hard whip to the corner is reversed and CEL crashes in the corner. Haze with a slam and elbow, corner splash. He really telegraphs the second one, and CEL avoids easily. CEL pounds in the corner, whip spinning heel kick. CEL with a dropkick, hurranconranna, goes to the second rope and leaps but gets caught, powerbomb by Haze gets two. Suplex Haze gets two. Fisherman's suplex gets two. But CEL with a rollup, the rope and tights gets three at 8:25 mins. Haze complains about the underhand tactics and says he thought they were friends. Second fall: CEL pounds him on the heck, tornado DDT, and he kicks him on the mat. Well the gloves are off now. Gut wrench suplex by Haze, goes up, frog splash MISSES. Ref gets up to nine before CEL makes it on his feet. CEL goes up, Haze nails him, fisherman's bomb OFF THE TOP ROPE and gets the pin. Dang! Haze ties it at 1-1 after 12:50 mins. Well Haze could cover CEL and end it now cause he looks to be injured. But he wants the mike instead. He says this fued started three years ago, and his career took off when he teamed with CEL and became tag champions. Haze says because it's the final MPW event, their final match should just end in a tie. The heck? How generious, but I'm not buying it. CEL shakes hands...but sure enough SUPERKICK by Chico doesn't quite get all of Haze's face and gets the pin at 15:30 mins. Cause Chico plays to WIN.

Xavier Frost & Scar w/ Erebus vs. "Custom Made" Damian Blade & "The Future" Brian Fantasy w/ Chipster & Tommy Cross vs. The Agency - Uriah & Curtis Payne - Erebus is still very insecure. Blade and Payne start, they trade shoulderblocks. Tag Brian M. Tag Uriah. Lockup and Uriah goes to the waistlock, whip into the Legion corner. Uriah pounds away on Fantasy, whip into the corner, and Uriah hits a dropkick on the mat. Drop toe hold on Blade into Fantasy's lower region, Frost in, drop toe hold on him into Blade's rear. Payne and Scar in, Payne dropkicks Scar into Frost's rear and it's a groin line. And Mr. Bigg comes out to be the manager for the Agency. Agency suplexes Fantasy. Payne chops Future, chokes, Payne slugs Frost, and tags Scar. Well Blade is tagged, shoulderblock Scar, and Blade tags Uriah. Uriah works the leg, and clips Scar. Tag Blade who kicks away at him, double whip double clothesline Scar. Tag Frost, Frost hits a DDT on Future for two. Whip clothesline Frost on Brian M., knee by Frost. Tag Scar, he kicks him in the head, chops him in the corner. Tag Frost and covers for two. Frost pounds on Brian, and tags Payne. Fantasy comes to life and hits C in the gut, shoulderblocks in the corner. Tag Blade, RUDE AWAKENING Blade on Payne, attempts a top rope senton but MISSES the target! Payne with a blockbuster gets two. Tag Scar, he charges and Scar goes SAILING over the top! Uriah with a suicide tackle on Scar on the floor! Payne on the top, dives on the pile! Frost with a flying body tackle on the group. Brian in the ring, he dives on the pile! All three managers jump on the apron and get in the ring, Tommy Cross is thinking of getting in. Bigg and Chip shove each other, Erebus shoves them both down. Chip clotheslines Erebus, Bigg rolls him over and does a running splash! Chip then does for the people elbow on Erebus! And the managers take their exit as a "I smell lawsuit" chant starts going. Lawsuit from WHO? They want Chip to take the hat off, Brian M. suplexes Payne. Everyone's slow to get up, Fantasy whipped into the corner, Payne pickup, Uriah off the top with a decap clothesline on Fantasy and they get the pin!

Well a fun overbooked match to close the doors of MPW. Where do they go now...Scar to Rampage, Damian Blade to Heartland, Brian Fantasy to LWA, Xavier Frost to UWA, The Agency to GCW.
The entire lockerroom empties out to gather in the ring as "Turn the Page" plays over the sound system. Searcher chant rings out from the crowd to be recorded on the video. Powell thanks the crowd, wrestlers show appreciation. Christian Haze says he has one thing to say to Powell, "I love you MAN!" And the curtain comes down.
The Verdict: Well, in this final show it was evident what's been wrong with the fed for a long time in terms of ringwork. Match of the night was done by four that men that have been wrestling elsewhere for quite a while, only Haze & Loco could put on anything that comes close to that, though the final match was satisfactory. A real mixed bag and a match short overall tonight and that's all I could say to everyone that asked me. It's in the works that MPW is gonna reopen under a completely new name and management, just hope things turn out a little better.
